About Nottingham

Nottingham is one of Houston’s original Memorial-area neighborhoods, located near the intersection of Memorial Drive and Kirkwood Road. Developed during the early 1960s as Houston expanded westward, the community was designed as a family-oriented neighborhood featuring spacious lots, mature trees, and convenient access to both downtown Houston and the Energy Corridor.

The neighborhood's character reflects the traditional suburban development of the era, with well-built homes, winding residential streets, and a strong sense of community. Over the decades, Nottingham has maintained its reputation as one of Houston’s most desirable established neighborhoods, benefiting from excellent Spring Branch ISD schools, proximity to Terry Hershey Park and Buffalo Bayou, and an active civic association dedicated to preserving neighborhood standards and quality of life.

History of Nottinhgam

Today, Nottingham remains a vibrant residential community within Houston’s Memorial area. The neighborhood consists of 479 single-family homes spread across four sections, featuring a mix of original ranch-style homes, renovated properties, and custom new construction. Residents enjoy mature landscaping, walkable streets, neighborhood parks, and convenient access to major employment centers.

Families are drawn to the community by its highly regarded Spring Branch ISD schools, strong property values, and active homeowner involvement. The neighborhood continues to attract both long-time residents and new families seeking the combination of established charm and modern conveniences that define Nottingham.

The Neighborhood Today

In 2026, Nottingham reached an important milestone when the homeowner associations representing Sections 1 through 3 and Section 4 formally merged into a single organization. This unification strengthened neighborhood governance, streamlined operations, and reinforced a shared vision for preserving and enhancing the community for future generations.

  • Community Management

    Crest Management provides management services for Nottingham. Crest provides accounting, financial management, deed restriction application processing, and contract management for the community. They also handle inquiries about association dues owed, board meeting minutes, and real estate title transaction requests.

    Crest provides a homeowner portal to each house. Information on accessing this portal can be found here.

  • Trash & Recycling

    Texas Pride provides private trash disposal service to Nottingham.

  • Security Patrol

    Harris County Constable’s Office - Precinct 5 provides security patrol service for Nottingham.

    The Constable’s security services is shared with multiple adjacent, and surrounding, community associations.

  • Maintenance Services

    Blue Water Recreational Services provides year-round service to the recreation and lap pools at Memorial West Community Club.

    Pools chemical levels are treated on Mondays. As such, both pools are closed on Mondays.

    Texscapes provides landscaping services on a year-round basis for Nottingham.

    Excalibur Mosquito Control provides street mosquito fogging services to Nottingham. Service is provided once a week from April to November.
